Fixed Wireless Services
Staying at home or at your office does not mean you are out of the picture, To supplement the regular PSTN telephony services, EriTel also provides the Fixed wireless Technology known as Code Division Multiple Access, CDMA.
CDMA technology is immensely important in areas where wired fixed services are not available. Eritel provides the CDMA services in all the major cities and towns, outskirts of all major cities, many rural areas with plans to expand the coverage to include the whole country in place.
Currently the CDMA services provide telephony and low data services only. The CDMA telephony service is available in both Postpaid and Prepaid denominations.
Eritel plans to introduce the CDMA Internet Services with its planned upgrade of the CDMA system to EVDO Evolved Data Optimization platform in the near future.

Classification of CDMA for long distance calls
Tariff category 1 covers a distance of 1-125 kms.Tariff category 2 covers a distance of 125-250 kms.
Tariff category 3 covers a distance of 250 kms and above.
